IMS Services is an IT company based in St. Helena Bay, Western Cape. We support private desktops, home offices and small to medium businesses across the West Coast, covering everyday device problems at one end and fully managed IT infrastructure at the other.
Every client is a different size
A retiree with one laptop and a printer does not need what a twelve-person office needs, and both deserve the same standard of work. We take on single-machine jobs and full business setups, and we do not treat the small ones as an inconvenience. The difference is in what we recommend, not in how carefully we do it.
We work to your budget
Budgets are real and we plan around them. Sometimes that means doing the urgent part now and the rest next quarter, sometimes it means repairing rather than replacing, and sometimes it means telling you that the cheap option will cost more in six months. You will get the reasoning along with the number, so the decision stays yours.
Local, and available on the phone
We are here on the West Coast, not at the end of a national support queue. When you phone the number you reach IMS Services, and the person you speak to is the person who will do the work or arrange it. That matters most on the day something is down and you need to know what is happening.
Across the whole setup, not just one piece
Most IT trouble sits between things. The printer is fine and the laptop is fine, but the network between them is not. Because we handle hardware, servers, networks, Microsoft 365 and security, we can follow a problem from one end of the setup to the other instead of handing you back and forth between suppliers.
Plain language
We explain what is wrong, what we propose to do, and what it will cost, in words you can repeat to somebody else. If you want the technical version we will give you that too. What we will not do is use complexity as a reason for you to stop asking questions.
